In 2012-2013, one of the first projects supported by the Ukrainian Women's Fund was the initiative "Information Campaign to Promote the Contribution of Women to the Social and Economic Development of the Zhytomyr Region". As part of the project, many interviews, photo and video materials were prepared with successful women of the region and a competition was held for representatives of the regional media for the best report on the topic "Women Who Create the History of the Zhytomyr Region".

The project partners were the Department of Family, Youth and Sports and the Department of Information Support and Public Communications of the Regional State Administration.
The project consisted of two parts. The first was the creation of a video about modern women who create the history of the Zhytomyr Region. The second was the competition for the best report for representatives of the regional media.
