About us
Our organization dates back 2012. Our active public position became the prerequisites for the unity of four girl leaders (Natalia Tarasenko, Bella Antonyan-Shevchuk, Yulia Melnyk and Yulia Vaskivska). Each of us is a winner of the "First Step to Success" competition for girl leaders arranged by Ukrainian Women's Fund. For the sake of scaling the impact and qualitative changes, we have decided to join efforts and work together. There is our own path of development and transformation like in any organization.
We started with the activity and focus of work with young people and were called Zhytomyr Regional Youth Non-Governmental Organization "Parity".
In 12 years, we have grown and become mature and switched over our priorities into activities with target groups. To reflect these changes, we also reflected them in the statutory activity. That is why today we have a new name – NGO "Equal Opportunities Center "Parity".
